Our Best double signings
So Soucek and Bowen have played a massive part in us staying up.

It made me think of the time when we signed Hartson and Kitson.

What other double signings have made a big impact on our season over the years?

Marsh & Burrows
McAvennie & Ward

Any others?

Hartson and Kitson saved us obviously but many forget that Steve Lomas came in as well and he was a massive help. For unknowns making an impact it has to be McAvennie and Ward.

Didn't they arrive the same time as Nigel Reo-Coker? Three for the price of two.

Didn’t we sign Danny Gabbidon and James Collins together from Cardiff? Both solid signings.

'Cos they are mentioned in the original post which then asks for other examples.

Billy Jennings and Keith Robson, both signed during September 1974.

Not necessarily the best double signings, but they played an important part in our cup runs of 75 and 76.

Oops, you already mentioned them. I've been ill for a few days but made myself go out for a beer after the game and am half cut after 2 pints.
